2023 Stableford Results!!!
97 players entered the May 27th Stableford at Mahoney Golf Course. Another great turnout for a popular event. It was an optional event for a member-member or member-guest twosome. The golf course had thick rough and fast greens which led to consistent scoring. There was even a hole in one on hole 17 by Brandon Eden getting his team 10 points and topping off a great day for all! This is a format where you actually want to accumulate a high score in golf! Both players scores/points were totaled for each hole making for a combined total.
The Stableford is an event where teams are rewarded points based on their best score on the hole. The LMGA chose to use Double Bogey as 0, bogey 1, par 2, birdie 4, eagle 6, double eagle 8. Scores were based on net results and divided into 4 flights by handicap. Winners and scoreboards provided below:
