2025 LMGA Match Play Championship

Format: USGA Match Play Competition

Dates: Start Date May 2nd, ending September

REGISTER BY PAYING ON THE MATCH PLAY ICON UNDER LMGA TOURNEY FEES!!!

Location:

Round 1: Pioneers Golf Course (completed by May 26th). Round 2: Mahoney Golf Course (completed by June 16th). Round 3: Holmes Golf Course (completed by July 7th). Round 4: Highlands Golf Course (completed by July 28th). Round 5: Semi-Finals TBD (completed in August). Round 6: Finals TBD (completed in September).

Time:

AS SCHEDULED ON OWN WITH OPPONENT. If competitors cannot complete a match scheduled within the allotted time, a decision will be made by the LMGA board as to which player advances. Please try to stay within the the set parameters!

Entry Fee: $30 (online please), plus green fees.

This event is back for another year in 2025….with a couple changes! New this year, there will be a blue tee division (ENTRANTS CAN DECLARE BLACK TEES IF THEY SO CHOSE) as well as a white tee division. There will also be a “Consolation Bracket” with the opportunity to still advance to the finals. Entrants will play from declared tees, with adjusted handicaps established for the GHIN handicap calculator according to the course played. Rules will followed under Rule 3 competition, subsection 3.2 Match Play. Refer to these guidelines in the event of a rules question. Players will be responsible for using the GHIN App or website (updated daily) to set up handicap determination. Payouts will be dependent on size of field.

2024 LMGA Match Play Results

Beginning May 1st, the LMGA started a year long match play competition. Players scheduled their own matches within the deadlines at required courses and competed with handicaps. This season we did a black/blue/white tee combined competition for a champion of all the entire LMGA. This year’s winner was Mark Orr! Congratulations to him and thank you to all who participated!
